Awesome again! What grace to be able to hear these things after so many wrong turns and mismarkings. I really like the dynamics and rapport that is being communicated and that seems to be crystallizing. Self-disclosures like today and the appeal were perfect. It builds even greater affection with the audience. Yes, the background is a nice touch. Brothers background too (Its accidentals resemble my own). Why not get more specific about your development plan? There might be people who have the equipment and materials you are looking for and ir know where to look and have desirable knowledge/experience and time you dont. That in itself could be a great show. Michael Voris, I recall, when he was starting, seemed to do a great job of sharing his dream and vision, as did, I imagine, Mother Angelica. Try to be a bit more bold in the Mother Angelica way of good humor and self-effacing humor. I can easily envision things taking the same trajectory. In the beginning she had a core and content that was feisty. You have that grit, too. I think AJs look projects a gravitas that matches the subject matter while also communicating a youthful zeal and purity that is unstoppable. Your handicap can be an advantage. God knows how to turn weakness into strength. You are and will be, i pray, an inspiration to many homebound believers. Be prepared, I think, for an inundation once things settle with the Pope. It seems to me the OMC apostolates will be the only place to go because of the integrity. I am only tempted to sadness by Padre Pio’s prophecy about the conversion of America taking a long time. Nevertheless, OMC Radio and TV from sea to shining sea!

Indeed, Master Po. Didn’t know you were old enough to remember Caradine’s ‘Kung Fu’.

THANKYOU, AJ and Brother Alexis, for this excellent programme. Much appreciated. I have made more detailed comments under the posting at http://www.fromrome.info and hope that you might find them of some interest. Pax vobiscum.

THANKYOU also, AJ, for your heartfelt & humble appeal for such a very worthy cause, which I hope and pray will receive positive & generous responses. Your deep love for, and knowledge of, Holy Mother Church, shines through in all your programmes that I have watched or listened to in recent months, and I am going to explore some/many of your earlier episodes as & when time allows. I should be able to make a modest, monthly [or weekly…] donation to either yourself or Brother Alexis within the next few weeks, once an existing commitment comes to a close. May Almighty GOD bless and protect both of you at all times.

I can’t disagree with any of this. The Traditional Latin Mass is, at the very least, from the pre-1955 Missal. It’s hard to go back and critique Pius X’s reforms, because they are before the experience of anyone alive. I think this has a lot to do with why the English chose not to bring back the Sarum Rite, when the hierarchy was re-established in the middle of the 19th century. The traditional prayer for the conversion of the Jews is crucial.

I am a little late to this video, and I have listened to less than 10 minutes of it. But I am confused about the assertion that the prayers for the Jews on Good Friday have been removed from the Missal of 1962. On page 552 of my Roman Catholic Daily Missal, under The Great Intercessions, it says, “For the Conversion of the Jews…Let us pray also for the Jews: that our God and Lord would remove the veil from their hearts: that they may also acknowledge our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us pray, etc. Almighty and everlasting God, Who drivest not away from Thy mercy even the Jews: hear our prayers which we offer for the blindness of that people: that acknowledging the light of Thy truth, which is Christ, they may be rescued from their darkness. Through the same our Lord.” Modified it may have been; the Jews are no longer perfidious; but the language is very much in the charitable spirit with which Br. Bugnolo speaks of the need to save the Jews.

In the 1952 Missal Of Pius XII reads as follow, “Let us pray also for the perfidious jews, that our God and Lord take from them the veil over their hearts, that they might acknowledge Jesus Christ, Our Lord. — For this prayer one does not respond, Amen, nor does the deacon say, Let us kneel, or afterwards, Let us stand. : Omnipotent sempiternal God, Who doth not even repel the perfidious Jewry from Thee: hear out our prayers, which we pour out against the blindness of that people, so that, with the Light of Thy Truth, which is Christ, they might be snatched from darkness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
